Fruits in Suits: Professional Happy Hour Galleries

HUMP Wednesday (17 Nov 2008) : Fruits in Suits is a new monthly happy hour that will take place in various venues around Capital Hill. The goal is simply to have a nice happy hour, mingling and networking with other GLBT professionals and their friends. We will have a DJ spinning lowkey, jazzy type music that won't overpower conversation, light hors d'oeuvres, a lively host that will help people to mingle and meet new folks, and a fully stocked bar. (We have licenses and permits, so it's all completely legal and on the up-and-up). The cost is $10, which gives you a free drink and light hor d'oeuvres and helps us to pay for the venue each month. A portion of each month's proceeds will also be donated to The Trevor Project ( www.thetrevorproject.org ). The first event was held Wednesday, November 19th from 5:00-8:00 at the Fetherston Gallery (818 East Pike Street).
